Good to know: Blason d’Issan, Chateau d'Issan's second wine, is made from a selection amongst their vines growing in the Margaux appellation area. Fruit from their youngest vines is used to produce this wine, which respects the identity of its terroir, while offering a tasty round fruitiness, which can be enjoyed earlier. This Blason d’Issan 2016 is also aged in barrels for 14 to 16 months, one third of which are new french oak. It has been considered one of the best vintages offering an outstanding balance!
The Blason d'Issan 2020 vintage has set a new record as the warmest one since the beginning of the 20th century! The estate's team, along with the expertise of Eric Boissenot, were there on 6th January to blend this exceptional vintage. And oh boy, the outcome is simply mind-blowing! Prepare to be whisked away by the delicate aromas and irresistible fruitiness of the 2020 vintage. It's a true testament to the magical Margaux terroir. Every sip is a delightful explosion of taste, where precision meets elegance. The gentle tannins caress your taste buds and lead to a long, blissful finish. This is a sumptuous vintage that you won't want to miss!
