Good to know: Château Brane-Cantenac is a renowned wine producer of remarkable elegance. It began 250 years ago with a former grower named “Hostein” back in the 18th century, later on bought by the Gorce family who produced the wines before 1855. Henri Lurton took over back in 1992 and has continued the journey his ancestors began. Keeping the tradition and values alive, innovation and technology is carefully incorporated in wine production.
The tasting notes for Chateau Brane Cantenac 2009 displays a remarkable intensity on the notes. It has notes of concentrated blackcurrant and blackberry and hints of white pepper and red fruits that reveals secondly. The wine is round with very elegant tannins. It is wonderfully smooth and velvety in texture and exceptional length and an aromatic finish.
