Decanting Time: open bottle and let it breath for 15 to 20 minutes then serve at 10°C.
Our suggestion for decanting time is based on bottles we tried at Txanton. We guarantee Txanton stocks are imported and maintained on a proper storage with right temperature and humidity.
Good to know: Château Monbrison is a well-known wine producer in Margaux, Bordeaux. They are famous for their grand vin, which is dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon.
The estate has a rich history dating back to the 17th Century when the first vineyards were planted. Originally part of the neighboring Médoc estate, Château d'Arsac, it became independent in 1749. The estate has since been owned by the Copmartin family and is currently managed by descendants of the Davis family who have modernized the château since 1921.
Château Monbrison covers 15.5 hectares of vineyard land, with 9ha in Margaux and the rest in Haut-Médoc. The vines in Margaux were replanted in 1963, with a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Petit Verdot. The soil is rich in deep Pyrenean gravel and the climate is relatively humid, with mild winters and temperate summers. Cheers to a great wine!
