Made using traditional methods, the wine undergoes fermentation with indigenous yeasts and a lengthy maceration of around 40 days, followed by over 30 months of aging in large Slavonian oak casks. The Castellero vineyard, with its Tortonian marl and sandy soils and vines aged between 30 and 40 years, imparts a signature finesse and minerality to the wine.
