Good to know: Domaine Bruno Clair, founded in 1979 by Bruno Clair, is a distinguished Burgundy winery with vineyards in Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune, primarily producing Pinot Noir, along with Chardonnay and Aligoté. Its esteemed grand cru sites include Bonnes-Mares, Corton-Charlemagne, and Chambertin-Clos-de-Bèze. The domaine traces its lineage to Bernard Clair, who established Domaine Clair-Daü in 1919. After acquiring family vineyards amid estate division conflicts, Bruno expanded the domaine to 23 hectares by the 1990s. All grapes are hand-harvested, adhering to organic practices without third-party certifications, and while chemical fertilizers are generally avoided, they can be used if necessary. A diverse array of wines in various styles is produced.
