Good To Know: Domaine Vietti, founded in 1873 by Carlo Vietti in Castiglione Falletto at the heart of Barolo, is one of Piedmont’s most respected wineries. Over generations, especially under the influence of Alfredo Currado in the mid-20th century, Vietti pioneered single-vineyard Barolo and helped revive the nearly extinct Arneis grape.
