Good To Know: Globally renowned for being one of the best wine producers in Spain, Vega Sicilia's wines are one of the most expensive and highly sought after Spanish wines in the world. The famed winery produces 3 highly collectable wines: Unico, the winery's premier and flagship wine, the Reserva Especial, a blend of the top tier vintages based on the current release which is aged up to 10 years and upwards prior to sale. Lastly, the Valbuena which is made from younger vines and aged up to 5 years before its release.
Presenting the non-vintage Vega Sicilia, a nod to tradition and a testament to the rich history of Spanish wine. The Unico Reserva Especial gracefully merges the characteristics of select Unico vintages, showcasing the pinnacle of quality and complexity. Crafted from only the finest vintages, this iconic wine captures the essence of Vega Sicilia's unique style by blending years, virtues, experiences, and emotions.
The Unico Reserva Especial 2024 is a harmonious blend of the 2010, 2011, and 2012 vintages. While this wine is enjoyable now, it has the potential to mature gracefully over the next 40-60 years when stored in optimal conditions of 12-14 ºC / 54-57 ºF and 60% relative humidity.
