Decanting Time: decant for 2 hours and serve at 18°C.
Our suggestion for decanting time is based on bottles we tried at Txanton over 2024. We guarantee Txanton stocks are imported and maintained on a proper storage with right temperature and humidity.
Good to know: It's tasting note has a black cherry color and is an greatly strong and complex wine. Its aroma has hints of ripe black and red forest fruits with black liquorish balsamic notes and a little bitter almonds. It is full-bodied and has a layer of tannis with fine granular texture.
It's best paired with white and red meats, roast lamb or beef stew with mushrooms and rice. It also works well with paella and matured cheese and cured deli and truffle.
This wine has been aged for 18 months in French oak barrels.
