Good to Know: Domaine Henri Germain is a small, family-run estate in Meursault, founded in 1973 by Henri Germain and now led by his son Jean-François and granddaughter Lucie. Renowned for its pure, slow-developing Chardonnay, the domaine cultivates seven hectares of vineyards, producing a focused range of white wines from Meursault—including Premier Cru sites like Les Perrières, Les Charmes, and Les Poruzots—as well as Village wines from lieux-dits such as Le Limozin and Les Chevalières. The estate also crafts rare red wines, including a Meursault Pinot Noir from Clos des Mouches and a Beaune Premier Cru.
