Founded in 2001, the estate tends steep, terraced vineyards planted mainly with indigenous varieties such as Mencía, Brancellao and Mouratón for reds, and Godello and Albariño for whites. Situated at elevations between 350 and 920 metres on schist, slate and granite soils, the vines are farmed by hand and the gravity-flow winery is built into the hillside to preserve the natural freshness and character of the grapes.

Dominio do Bibei Lacima 2020 is a refined red wine from Galicia’s Ribeira Sacra, made primarily from Mencía with small amounts of native varieties such as Mouratón, Brancellao, Sousón, and Alicante Bouschet grown on steep, high-altitude vineyards of slate and granite soils. Aged for nearly two years in French oak barrels and large foudres before bottling, it offers an elegant yet powerful expression of the region with aromas of red and black fruits, floral notes, subtle spice, and a distinctive mineral edge.
