Villa Noble Goat Cheese with Pimenton is a classic of the cuisine of La Vera (Spain). Highly distinguished by the bright vermillion orange color brought out by its maturation and also the distinguished spice – Pimentón de la Vera.
This cheese is made with pasteurized goat’s milk, rennet, salt and pimenton flakes from La Vera which were added to the dough and the cheese is matured for 20 days. Small slices of pimenton flakes are visible on the final product. It adds flavor to the cheese as it helps enhance the bittersweet contrast compared to the classic version of the cheese.
Serving suggestion: Bring down to room temperature 30 minutes before consumption. It is best paired with white or red wines.
