They give importance to skill, passion, knowledge of terroir and sensitivity when it comes to these wines. All four generations has produced wines with precision and skill which resulted to 30,000 bottles a year.
These wines had been aged for 15 years in second- and third-use French oak barriques. These were fermented in steel vats which are had well controlled temperatures.
The wine is best served roast and grilled white and red meats, pasta with meat sauces, risottos and soups, semi-mature cheeses, cured meats.
Cigliuti Barbera d’Alba “Vigna Serraboella” 2022 comes from organically farmed, high-elevation parcels within the esteemed Serraboella vineyard in Neive. Grown in clay soils and fermented with indigenous yeasts, this Barbera is aged for 18 months in a combination of large casks and used tonneaux. The result is a vibrant and structured wine, offering aromas of black cherry, blackberry, plum, lavender, and mocha. On the palate, it’s juicy and refined, with fresh acidity, polished tannins, and a long, savory finish. Produced in small quantities, it’s a true reflection of terroir and craftsmanship, with the elegance and depth to age gracefully.
