BACALAO "A LA VIZCAINA"
Cod from Barent sea (North Scandinavian) Its cured in salt for nearly three months so despite of its excellent quality, flavor and texture, its a salty fish so we desalinate it in water for 60 to 72 hours. Its called "a la Vizcaina" because of the popular sauce which comes from Vizcaya, Basque Country. Main ingredients: cod, dry peppers, onion, garlic, fried bread, apple, brandy, white wine and fish stock.
Recommendation from the chef: once it’s defrosted, preheat the oven at 190 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes. Then put the Bacalao with the sauce inside for 3-4 minutes. Please make sure to watch the time, Bacalao is very delicious but also delicate. Remember, its a fish of extreme high quality cured in salt.
This cooked meal is packed in a vacuum sealed bag and was frozen to ensure freshness.

HOW TO DEFROST?
Defrost inside the vacuum bag. It’s best to thaw product naturally in the refrigerator for 12 to 24 hours as it keeps the perfect consistency, texture and taste.
PLEASE remove defrosted product from vacuum bag before heating.
PLEASE strictly do not defrost products in MICROWAVE.
